Makes me wonder…

This Flickr picture of a sign at the Columbus Public Library, Columbus, Nevada, makes me wonder about many things. To begin with,
- …what IS their equipment, if they’re not PCs?
- …how big is their budget?
- …how big is the library?
- …how old is the equipment?
- …how many people actually use such a system?
- …is the set-up useless and annoying, or does it provide a service that’s not otherwise available? (from the users’ point of view)
Now I need to get back to writing a cataloging paper.
