Work woes

I was stupid.
I had an indexer job lined up, via a classmate, for the summer and possibly for the forseeable future. An interesting one, too. Just perfect considering that I took Information Technology, Knowledge Organization, and Online Searching and Services this spring.
I didn’t get the job because the company has some financial troubles. I didn’t have a backup job plan. Now I’m stressed out. Been hunting, but entry-level jobs are hard to find, let alone part-time ones. (I need some time for my summer classes, and to finish the Scan House project.)
In addition to job hunting, I am going to school plus volunteering at the Scandinavia House library, and I have my project for them to finish. The project isn’t going to take the whole summer, though.
The significant scholarship I received from the Finlandia Foundation New York City Metropolitan Chapter does make me feel a little less bad about not having a job for the moment.
The hunt continues!
