“What Do You Know About Copyright?”

‘brary web diva conducted a survey on librarians’ views about their knowledge on copyright. Interesting results. I feel rather silly, but it reallt didn’t occur to me before that in addition to the public copiers, the public scanners and computers with disc drives or USB ports should carry a copyright notice posted near them. (D’oh!) Definitely useful links are the fair use checklist [pdf], the ALA Copyright Advisory Network, and the U.S. Copyright Office.
