A mind is a terrible thing to waste

Book Aid International is a “very worthy charity” according to the Internet Resources Newsletter staff (for issue #158, Jan 2008):
“Book Aid International promotes literacy in developing countries by creating reading and learning opportunities for disadvantaged people, in order to help them realise their potential, and eradicate poverty.”
When I came across this charity, I realized that reading and access to information is something I take so much for granted it startled me to be reminded that not everyone can read. I couldn’t imagine a life without reading. It’s the basis of everything I’ve accomplished. I can think of few things worthier than opening the same door for someone else.
Thanks for mentioning IRN, and Book Aid International. Kepp up the blogging.
